Hans schrijft Nederlandstalige verhalende luisterliedjes en zijn composities vari\u00ebren in stijl: ingetogen luisterlied, folk, pop ballad en blues, ze komen allemaal aan bod, soms ingetogen, soms expressief, vaak\u00a0 po\u00ebtisch. De thema\u2019s lopen uiteen van persoonlijke ervaringen tot maatschappelijke problemen en zijn heel herkenbaar.
Van luisteraars hoort hij regelmatig dat zijn liedjes te vergelijken zijn met die van artiesten als Boudewijn de Groot, Gerard van Maasakkers, Alex Roeka en Zjef Vanuytsel, kortom het genre Nederlandstalig chanson, nederpop, folk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hij treedt op in zaaltjes, bibliotheken, kapellen en kerken, maar ook bij u thuis voor een huiskamerconcert, kortom op plaatsen waar een luisterpubliek is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2014 werd de CD  ‘Er was eens….<\/em>‘   uitgebracht (zie de rubriek ‘muziek’).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hans groeide op in Tilburg. Hij begon op 11 jarige leeftijd met gitaarspelen. Speelde in een paar plaatselijke groepjes, waaronder \u2018The Folks<\/em>\u2019, maar dat hield op toen hij naar Nijmegen verhuisde om te studeren. In die tijd schreef hij al eigen liedjes. Hij werkte o.a als leraar tekenen en handvaardigheid, was consulent beeldend vormen en literaire vorming, taaldrukker en docent schrijven. Speelde van 2005 tot december 2013 bij ‘Triangulum<\/em>‘, het latere ‘ Trickle Well<\/em> ‘.
Op 13 december 2015 werd hij door het Huis van de Letters onderscheiden als ‘TAALent 2015<\/em>‘, o.a. voor zijn activiteiten als liedschrijver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hans treedt onder de naam ‘Hans Hamers & Co<\/em>‘ regelmatig op met:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speelt drums vanaf zijn twaalfde jaar en heeft vanaf \u00a0zijn vijftigste priv\u00e9 les genoten van Eugene Floren te Nijmegen. Speelt drums, percussie,\u00a0 mondharmonica en zingt in verschillende formaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sjef Nilwik<\/strong>: basgitaar
Heeft op zijn twaalfde een jaar slaggitaarles gehad. Eind middelbare school speelde hij basgitaar in een blues- en rock&roll band, die ook eigen muziek maakte. Autodidact. Na een jarenlange windstilte heeft hij opnieuw plezier in het samen spelen, in verschillende bandjes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hans writes his songtexts in Dutch and his storytelling compositions vary in style. Subdued listening song, folk, pop ballad and blues, they are all covered, sometimes modest, sometimes expressive, often poetic. The themes range from personal experiences to social problems and are very recognizable.
He performs in halls, libraries, chapels and churches, but also at your home for a living room concert, in short, in places where there is a listening audience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In 2014 the CD “Er was eens…..” (There once was…..) was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He grew up in Tilburg, the Netherlands. He started playing guitar at the age of 11. He improved his style by watching other guitar players. He played in a few local groups, including ‘ The Folks<\/em> ‘, but that stopped when he moved to Nijmegen to study. At that time he already wrote his own songs, inspired by the music of, among others, Dylan, Donovan, The Byrds, Crosby\/Stills\/Nash & Young, The Pentangle, Boudewijn de Groot and the Rolling Stones. He played with ‘Triangulum<\/em>‘ and ‘Trickle Well<\/em> ‘ untill december 2013.
December 13, 2015, he was honored by the Huis van de Letters (House of Letters) as ‘TAALent 2015′ {merging of ’taal’ (language) and ’talent’}, among others for his activities as a songwriter.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hans often performs alone or as ‘Hans Hamers & Co<\/span><\/em>‘ together with:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He plays drums from the age of twelve and at the age of fifty he started with private lessons from Eugene Floren, Nijmegen. Plays drums, percussion, harmonica and sings in different formations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sjef Nilwik<\/strong>: bass guitar
Took rhythm guitar lessons for a year when he was 12. At the end of high school he played bass guitar in a blues and rock & roll band, which also made its own music. Self-taught. After years of silence, he once again enjoys playing together in different bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
